But it wasn't 12 books, it was one massive book. As my writing teacher had taught, a book needs a beginning where the scene is set, a middle where the action is, and an end where everything ties together. All 12 of these books had beginnings and middles but only the last one had an end.The writing was good, it kept me entertained and on the edge of my seat at times but it should have been advertised as one BIG book. (As you can tell, that really bothered me!)It was worth the $.99 but if I had paid the $3.99 for each "book", I would have been highly disappointed and upset.If you want a good, long read, this is for you. It had a new "recipe for disaster" for those of us that like the apocalyptic genre and the characters were well rounded.Very interesting SHTF series! This is a great series by Mike Kraus! Lots of action along the way. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes apocalypse stories. This set is a great bargain at 99 cents!
